Buildhub GeoFix Paving Joint Compound 20kg

The Buildhub GeoFix Paving Joint Compound is a premium polymer-modified cementitious jointing system specifically developed for the demanding performance requirements of external block paving, natural stone, porcelain, and large-format concrete slab installations. Unlike traditional sharp sand and cement pointing mixes, which are prone to washout under rainfall, weed ingress at joints, and frost-spalling through pore saturation and freeze-thaw cycling, GeoFix incorporates a comprehensive system of performance additives that address each of these failure modes within a single, easy-to-apply factory product.

GeoFix is installed dry — the granular product is brushed into dry joints from the surface, compacted, and then activated by a light water spray that triggers the cement and polymer setting reaction within the joint. This dry-brush application method is dramatically faster and more consistent than traditional wet-mixed pointing approaches, eliminating the messy surface contamination that wet pointing causes on textured and absorbent stone surfaces and allowing large areas to be jointed in a single session without the progressive stiffening problems of wet mixes.

Once set, GeoFix forms a hard, dimensionally stable joint body that resists weed root penetration, ant and insect infestation, and the washout under rainfall that routinely causes premature failure of unbound and traditionally-bound paving joints. The polymer modification provides sufficient flexibility to accommodate the thermal and moisture-induced movement of individual paving units without progressive joint cracking, addressing the most common durability failure mode of rigid cement-only pointing in external paving.

GeoFix is available in Natural Stone, Mid-Grey, Buff, and Charcoal colorways to match the most common block paving and stone palette options.
